Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress best recognized for her role as detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medicine drama The Resident. She also received high praise for her first television part as a character on Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. Her most notable movies comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life is an autobiography written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross. Vlas Parlapanides, who also wrote Immortals and is reportedly co-writing the film adaptation. She is also filming for the upcoming show Gods & Heroes.
