Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born 13 June 1962 in the US, is an actor. Her first film appearance was in Bad Boys (1983). Then she enrolled in the Bratpack and starred as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) and Short Circuit (1986). For her performance on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female lead. Ally Sheedy, an American author and actress. Her career in film began in the her early 80s when she was featured as a character actress for the crime-drama film, Bad Boys. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie, which also featured prominent stars Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. In 1985, following her success in a movie, the actress appeared on screen in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes' film is considered to be one of the top high school film ever made. Though the budget was only $1 million its earnings crossed the mark of $50 million. Between then the actress began appearing on TV in various shows such as CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first TV appearance. The show was specifically for teens that began airing beginning in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are some of the other series in which she's appeared. A few of her most recent appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse which is a movie about the superhero X-Men in which she plays an appearance. Sheedy for her amazing performances has won numerous awards including an MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in 2005.
