David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25 in 1949) is a famous American journalist as well as anchor and reporter. Muir is best known for his show World News Tonight. His show with its dramatic videos, celebrity news and animated gestures is now the most watched newscast in America. Made In America, his Emmy nominated program, is one of his other credits. Prior to his appointment as anchor of ABC World News Tonight he was the primary substitute anchor for the previous anchor Diane Sawyer. He's reported on a variety of evening specials on primetime ABC News some recent ones being Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint The Refugee Crisis in America. He has covered news around the globe, including Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He's the winner of many Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Awards and honors from Associated Press.
